Tucked away in the Spanish-colonial style streets of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, artist Alfredo Garcia-Lucio works with Mexican craftsmen to create his one-of-a-kind designs. He began his creative journey in Denver, Colorado, where he worked as a photographer and designer in print, fabric, and space design. Since then, he's moved his operation to San Miguel de Allende, where his sustainable designs made of recycled materials can most authentically embody his Mexican heritage as well as the artisanal traditions commonly used there.

Great gift

The feeder was beautifully painted. I gave it as a gift for a very special person. I debated whether to get the flower she would like better rather than her birth month but I figured it would mention it in the gift. It did not! BTW she reports that many hummingbirds are visiting it! The gift was a great success!

I love it!

I love this little hummingbird feeder! I've tried 3 or 4 other types of h-bird feeders, and they all had multiple parts and were a PITA to take apart and clean and refill. So, I was thrilled to find this one with such a simple design. It'll be so easy for me to dump the old feed, clean it, and refill it. It's a bit smaller than I was expecting but still holds plenty of fluid (about half a cup), which will be plenty for the little birds between weekly cleanings. The painting is beautiful! I'm not sure if the paint is dishwasher safe (I'm guessing not) but it's very easy to wash by hand because of the simple design. 5 stars!!!
