How do you care for the hummingbird feeder?
Grout and adhesive used in constructing this bird feeder is weather-resistant. To further preserve the life of your feeder, hang feeder in a partially covered spot, such as under a roof or deck overhang, or on a lower, protected tree branch. Avoid placing in windy locations where it may fall and break.
Edges of the mosaic glass are sharp, so only handle with a thick glove or cloth.
To clean interior, rinse inside of feeder with hot, soapy water as needed. To clean exterior, apply small amount of vinegar to soft cloth or sponge and wipe glass carefully. Be careful as edges of mosaic glass pieces may be sharp.
What else should you know about the hummingbird feeder?
To prevent leakage from the tube, place feeder out of direct sunlight and windy locations (so the nectar doesn't heat up and expand).
