Juliet Meeks is a watercolor artist based in her hometown of New Orleans. Her artistic and entrepreneurial career began in high school when she started sewing and selling her handmade clothes at local art markets. Juliet's journey has taken various turns since then, from making handmade jewelry with vintage postage stamps to the watercolor illustrations and patterns she produces today. She enjoys painting florals because of their organic shapes and opportunity as an avenue for color exploration. Most days, you'll find Juliet in her studio with her dog Roxy, dreaming up new pattern ideas, teaching classes for other artists, and sharing her process along the way.

I would buy this again

This was for my sister-in-law's birthday. We live in another state and don't see each other often. The tea towels were not much but a step above a card. She loved them.

Very unique and great quality

I purchased several for family & friends. Everyone loved them! I think I'll get one for myself. Without opening the plastic bag in which each came, I can see the material looks of high quality and the colors are very vibrant. The flowers are like a personalization and a conversation piece. Not everyone knows that sweet pea is one of April's flowers. In fact, not everyone, self included, knows that this lovely, little wildflower exists. Now, I love it! As I write this review, I'm tempted to purchase these T-towels in mass - all 24. I think there are two for each month. Check them out! You'll no doubt buy more than one and be loving them too!

Pretty, not useful

Towel is too heavy and stiff to use for drying without washing it many, many times. I bought it as a decorative towel, however, so that's okay. I do wish the plastic tag connector was not sewn into the seam, as I like to fully remove those, not have the remnant trapped in the seam.

Beautiful message for a friend

I bought two one for a Christmas gift and one for a friend when I saw the pink Carnation. I am psychic and was standing in my kitchen when I felt the presence of my friends mother. I said hello to her and asked what message she wanted me to give her daughter. She showed me a pink Carnation, I had to look up the meaning and it was... Im thinking of you and love you. I gave my friend the message and she had happy tears because she had a hard day and was missing her mother and wanted to ask her advice about something. The towel with the pink Carnation was the perfect gift for my friend. She loves it so much that she is going to frame it!

Very pretty and meaningful gift

I love the idea that these are birth flowers for inspiration, but don't have anything specific about that on the towel. My mom's birthday isn't the carnation, but that flower has special meaning to her. It shipped quickly and she was really delighted! Her photo looked just like the listing. I choose to shop uncommon goods for most of my gifts now because I love how they support smaller scale business/makers as well as striving to be eco friendly! Love the perks option, it's saved me a lot!
