There are two places potter Rocky Broome loves to be: her studio and her garden, both at her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She combines her love of potting and nature to create stunning one-of-a-kind pottery pieces that act as a canvas for her painting. And though Rocky has been potting for 40 years, she has no intention of stopping anytime soon. "I have no retirement plans; I love and feel privileged to be able to do this (not work) work. A day in the studio is always a good day."

Great gift for mother-in-law
I gifted this to my mother-in-law who loves bird watching. It was really easy to put up, and the instructions were straightforward. She added a red ornament close to the bird feeder as she read that hummingbirds love red and gravitate towards them. Within a week of putting up the feeder, she has had a ton of hummingbirds feeding from the porcelain feeder. It adds to her garden decorations perfectly!

A beautiful feeder that the hummingbirds love!
I wanted to upgrade from my old faded plastic hummingbird feeder. This feeder is perfect! It's a work of art! The hummingbirds took to it quickly and have been enjoying the nectar. I love how it looks amongst the flowers on my deck.

I would like to hang this or put on a stake- I see the photo shows a hanger but how to I do that?

Each feeder is strung with a 40# stainless steel leader line. To hang it, simply place it on a suitable hook or nail. If you prefer to put it on a stake, you will need a stake with a lip to ensure the item is securely held in place.

this may be a silly question but how do they get to the water when it is half, or less full? Also how sturdy is it on a patio on windy days. and if it is going to colorado it needs to brought in for winter Is that right? This will hold about 10-12 ounces of sugar water. Hummingbirds will not have a hard time accessing the solution. As this is ceramic, these should be put out during temperate weather and brought in during more extreme spells.
