  • The bottom disk of niobium showcases lush shades of blue and green—every color you see comes from one "dip" into an electrically charged water bath that Holly specially designed to speed up niobium's natural oxidation process.

Holly Hosterman was a trained jewelry artist and metalsmith fresh out of college and working three jobs. Paul "Yashi" Lubitz was a high-energy guy with tons of business ideas, but had never had a "real" job. They knew they wanted to work together, and they started their own jewelry company in a one-car garage, hand-cutting animal-shaped earrings out of brass and silver. They now have a 50-person crew in a studio nestled in the small town of Arcata, in the heart of California's redwoods.

This item ships directly from the maker. If you order today your item will ship no later than 10/21/2025.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Bag. Instead, you can include your Gift Message on the shipment's packing slip.  At this time, this item cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Care

Remove before showering and swimming. Avoid exposure lotions and body oil. Keep away from sweat, sand, and salt. For every day and routine cleaning, warm water and a mild dish soap works great. Let the jewelry sit in the solution for a minute, rinse, and wipe with a soft cloth. Repeat as needed.
