Care
To heat, microwave pillow on high for 90 seconds and let it stand for 15 seconds. Remove and gently drape over the ache to relax and reduce tension. Repeat and use as often as you like.
To cool, place pillow in a reusable bag and in the freezer until cooled. Remove and place on the body to provide cool relief or to reduce bruising or swelling.
To clean, hand wash or machine wash and dry. Place pillow in laundry bag prior to machine wash.
Notes
A microwave with a turning glass plate is required to heat the pillow. Please be sure that it is also, turning correctly, ensuring the pillow does not fall off while heating.

The Best Heat Pillow Ever
We have tried all different kinds of heat pillows over the years - rice filled, gel beads... The cherapy pillows are easy to use, hold heat well, and the filling feels nice through the fabric without being too rough. We have used them on sprained ankles, on sore muscles after shoveling, for cramps, after workouts, and I'm sure we will find even more uses to come. The price is great for the quality of product. Don't hesitate to buy one [or two, because someone will definitely try to borrow this]!

Heats Well
This is my second cherry pit heat pillow. It does a great job of holding heat for about 20 minutes and the multiple sections make it easy to drape. My new one is about an inch shorter than the previous one and I miss the inch. The pillow is well made and I expect it to last.

These are Wonderful
The quality is excellent. They have exceeded my expectations. The best part is they don't smell. I've purchased other's similar to these and they smell when removed from the microwave. My husband tore his rotator cuff and he uses this daily. I purchased an extra one for myself.

Approximately how long does the pillow stay cool or warm?

That's a great question regarding our Cherry Pit Therapeutic Heat Pillow. It depends on the conditions and how it's used. If you keep it around the neck in usual conditions about 30 min. Under the blanket 30 min to 60 min and air conditioned environments are usually around 15 - 20 min. You can repeat the heating process and use as often as you like.
