“A goal is just a dream with a deadline.”
There was never a moment that Emilie Shapiro didn't consider herself an artist. "Before I could speak," she says, "I expressed myself through what I made with my hands." While getting her degree in metalsmithing at Syracuse University, she spent a summer at Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy. "I have a massive stone collection that I started when I was two," and to spark inspiration, she says, "I usually pull out my drawers of gems and minerals and something catches my eye."

Beautiful necklace and love the card
I received this from my husband for our anniversary. I love it! The necklace is beautiful, light wait and meaningful. Emilie Shapiro is one of my favorite designers and I have a couple other pieces from her jewelry collection. This is a great every day necklace that makes me feel happy when I wear it. I am going to get one for my daughter!
