Received with a leg broken off and customer service is Bad
When I opened the box and then took off the tissue paper the duck was wrapped in, it had a leg had broken off. Also another item I ordered didn't arrive until two weeks after my receipt said it would arrive, and three other items were "lost in transit" which I never received an email about, nor did I ever receive an email about the item arriving much later than the delivery date on the receipt. I would not have known about any of these shipping issues had I not called customer service (who then gave me refunds for the whole debacle). Worse yet, I found out that rather than going around their warehouse and packing up each item and shipping them all in one box at the same time (because they were all ordered at the same time and this is what Every other company in the world does), they ship each item individually even though they are all being held and shipped from the same warehouse! Seriously!? You, Uncommon Goods has that name for a reason and the way they run their business is uncommon indeed, and not in a good way.

In fact, some of our items ship from different locations, which can result in separate shipments—a practice not that uncommon with other companies. A Heartwarming Holiday Story
In the middle of Dec., a group of women got together for our annual cookie/secret Santa exchange. A good friend had purchased an adorable duck in painted boots. She had mentioned she honestly hoped she could steal it back so it became MY mission to steal it back for her. Well, as these go, it was stolen a few times and became "out of play" so I decided I'd order one for her, whisk it to her husband to unbox, wrap and tag for under the tree from Santa. 12/25 comes & goes & he says, "I'm getting interrogated on this glass bird, she wants to know who it is from!" I think, "glass bird? I ordered a wooden duck!" Eventually I had to reveal I was the secret santa and what it was supposed to be. I reached out to Uncommon Goods to tell them of the mishap and within a few days, Chester The Wooden Duck with Spotted Wellies was packed and on his way. He now has a wonderful home in MD and a new glass bird friend as well. Truly joyous noel.

Beautifully Built
I gave the ducks, Trevor and Sam, to my daughter, affectionately known as Ducky. The Wellies are beautiful to look upon and they are made very well. Originally gifted for the outdoor garden, she hasn't brought herself to move them outdoors until the weather improves ( although they come with adorable boots).

Hi - I'm wondering if anyone has experience or knowledge on if these ducks actually hold up if they are kept outside. The Dcuk company website says they should be inside, but your website definitely makes it seem like they can be outside decoration.

No two ducklets are exactly alike and each comes with their own individual name, so there's no general name for the littlest ducky. Looks like you may need to christen the little one with a suitable name to go along with her family, Pam and Tess. She looks like a "Debbie" to me.

Would the boots fit similar ducks? If so, can the boots be purchased separately? purchased ducks with yellow raincoats from uncommongoods a few years ago and if they are the same size, it would be nice to change their outfits a bit.

What is the width of each duck? How large of a shelf depth do I need to display them?

Measurements Duckling: 5" H; Ducky: 7" H; Duck: 12" H. A shelf depth of 14-15" would be fine to display all three.

My daughter and her family live on the inter coastal in Florida and my 3 grandchildren almost live on their dock fishing daily after school. Is it possible to have their 3 names 'painted' on the ducks, from the oldest to the youngest? This would be great! I will then apply a sealer so they can be permanently secured on the dock. Please advise ASAP as I'd like to get an order in if this can be done. Thank you!
