So much tasty fun!
The pesto Ravioli class was a fun and delicious way to spend a Sunday night! Sydney Willcox was a great teacher!!! Her directions were clear and exact. She did a great job of demonstrating what we had to do and was an encouraging coach! It doesn't have to be perfect! Sydney taught us a lot throughout the class - about how gluten works, the difference between flours and dough, and ideas for what can work as the fillings for a ravioli. The raviolis were so yummy! I served them up that night and they were a big hit with the family. I would definitely try another class with Sydney and Uncommon Goods! Thanks!

Well put together class with a super fun chef
My husband and I really enjoyed this class. Sydney was awesome. She was so charismatic and down to Earth. She made it easy to follow her while still keeping things interesting and adding some personality to the lesson.

Great Ravioli Class
I rarely cook, especially from scratch, so I was nervous about this class that was gifted to me. I was so pleasantly surprised how much fun it was, how fast the time went and how Sydney made me feel like I could do it. I highly recommend this, even if you think you have no cooking skills.

Great teacher! Knew the gluten and vegan alternatives well!
It was a well run class. Sydney is nice and a great instructor. We had a good view of the food she cooked as well so we could mimic it. You get some nice pesto, 00 flour, a solid ravioli mold with your class. The trickiest part is probably getting the proper dough moisture but Sydney coaches you through that. While the recipe is written in a non-vegan, non-gluten-free, Sydney will let you know ahead of time the vegan and gluten free alternatives that will work well! I used 4 flax eggs (1 tbsp flax seed powder to 3 tbsp water for one flax egg) for my dough and it turned out AMAZING! We are definitely making this again! Heads up that the pesto they ship you isn't vegan but it seems pretty nice. We are going to gift it to a family member instead. There are two major grocery store chains in our area that have vegan pesto (easy to find). I also really enjoyed all the pasta history and context that was shared during the class as well.

Great class!
Chef did a great job teaching the class and keeping it fun. Loved learning all the variations and things we could do. Wish we would have known the pdf with instructions was on the website to download the whole time. The email should be sent earlier.

This Lesson Was Fun!
My husband and I had so much fun doing this! He raved about how much he loved it even after it was over. It was great to see the lesson from inside our own home, using our own stuff, and enjoying a delicious glass of Amarone! The quality of the camera and audio that were being used were perfect. You could clearly see what was being taught and you could hear everything Sydney was saying. The chat was very useful to follow along since notes were being taken for us by the moderator. We now know how to make ravioli! We especially loved the filling and how delicious it made the ravioli. We also froze some of ours for a future meal. I would highly recommend this, and we will definitely being doing another class!

Delicious, Fun, and just challenging enough
We really enjoyed the experience and the food was delicious. The presenter did a great job helping us avoid pitfalls which could have ruined the meal. It was "just challenging enough" to feel like I was learning something difficult but easy enough that we really couldn't fail.

Great class but helps if you know dough
Sydney was an excellent guide, and, although I already had a ravioli mold, would definitely recommend getting one as part of the class. I was new to making dough wand kneading - I think it's a little helpful if you have done this before (even if not for ravioli) to get a sense of wet / dryness, but Sydney did a great job helping with this over Zoom.
