Watercolor 101 Painting Workshop

You’d love to learn watercolor painting (or pick it up again) but you’re not sure how to begin. Expert instructor Jennifer Funnell will help you get started. Join Jennifer for a 90-minute live virtual workshop where you’ll learn the essentials of watercolors and practice your skills as you paint an especially relaxing subject: beautiful houseplants.

• Before class, Jennifer will provide you with a list of materials and her own traceable foliage templates.
• No previous art experience is necessary—you’ll learn a simple graphite transfer process to create outlines of the plants and pots, and Jennifer will walk you through fundamental watercolor techniques.
• Once you’ve got the basics down, you’ll spend the rest of the class painting away, with Jennifer on hand to answer questions.

Class length: 90 minutes
We suggest: You should finish your masterpiece in 90 minutes, but you may want to leave time after class to put the finishing touches on your botanical beauties.
