Whether you're a pickle aficionado or just love a good taste test, this live online class with chef Ashlee Lewis offers a fun, hands-on experience that’s brimming with history, flavor, and creativity. Ashlee will guide you through a blind tasting of three unique pickled cucumbers, then show you how to achieve pickled perfection of your own. Get ready to pucker up and pickle down!

  • Discover your pickle preferences with an interactive blind taste test of three mouthwatering small-batch pickle varieties (see "Comes with the class," below).
  • Working with a custom pickle-tasting scorecard, capture initial impressions and inspirations that will prepare you for the DIY portion of the class.
  • Dive into a hands-on pickling session where you’ll learn how to create your own custom flavors, balance different acids (i.e., vinegars) and salts, and explore both traditional and adventurous spices.
Class length: 75 minutes.
