“A goal is just a dream with a deadline.”
There was never a moment that Emilie Shapiro didn't consider herself an artist. "Before I could speak," she says, "I expressed myself through what I made with my hands." While getting her degree in metalsmithing at Syracuse University, she spent a summer at Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy. "I have a massive stone collection that I started when I was two," and to spark inspiration, she says, "I usually pull out my drawers of gems and minerals and something catches my eye."

Different from picture
They metal used for the ear part is different from what was used in the picture. Looks like a cheaper metal used. The metal holding the stone is tarnished. I understand that these are hand made but the quality just isn't there.

Quality of metal is terrible.

Georgeous, unique, high quality earrings.
I bought these fro my teenage duaghter who has started wearing all kinds of earrings. Her birthstone in aqumarine :) It's hard to find nice (and affordable) aquamarine jewelry, it's not common. I loved these especially because they are uncut! Fit's my daughter's casual style perfectly.

Will this product tarnish & if have allergy to other metals, will the brass be a problem for skin irritations?

No, brass should not be an irritant at all. The best cleaning method should be an anti-tarnish pad, but since it's brass, you could also use a brass polish on the surface. Mild soap will also help if you are not able to find anti-tarnish. As always, with all jewelry, make sure it is the last thing you put on when you leave the house and make sure it is the first thing you take off when you get home. The more you exposed it is to the air (and even the oils in your skin), the faster it will get dirty.
