In New Hampshire’s White Mountains, you’ll find Lucy Golden’s home and studio on a 350-acre farm surrounded by woods and rivers. Lucy’s been making jewelry since her teens, and she’s inspired by all of nature, especially caterpillars, mushrooms, and moths—she even raises four species of giant silk moths. As an artist and naturalist, Lucy hopes that her work links people with the natural world. “This connection between humans and the environment is its best defense,” she says, “and ours, also.”
