Fun for Hybrid Team. Or Home with Family
Play with my Hybrid team and work, modified the rules slightly to accommodate the virtual attendees , and play with family of various age groups. Fun was had by all. Both groups enthusiastically said they would play it again.

One for the kids turns out to be another for us!
We got this as a gift for son and wife. They can be so tough to buy for. Their interests do not intersect with ours, shockingly enough. We do our best to buy things that will not just sit and rot. Turns out, it was fabulous for all of us! We played and laughed for hours when we played together, and it seems they play together as well! I am ordering one for us!

I went for it! Best family/ friend game! So happy I did!
I was doubting at first if buying a game that uses your phones was a good idea for my 15 year old daughter and her friends who are ALWAYS on their phones. I'm so glad I took the chance. This is so much more than being on your phone! It uses creative thinking, brings a new element to family game night! You get an inside look at your friends:family by seeing what's on their phones! Absolutely love it and even better my daughter and her friends do too!

What types of questions are included in the Family Expansion Pack, and appropriate for what ages?
Verified reply from Itamar
Great question! This game was made with the intent of a 13+ age group.

Will this work with players in more than one state?
Verified reply from Leslie
Theoretically they all need to be sitting together to see the commands on the cards, but we're sure it's easy to work around that with Zoom, Skype, etc.

The game says for 13+, my friends daughter is 11.5, and my friend is a bit strict with age limit things. Is there any reason this wouldn't be ok for an 11 yr old?
Verified reply from Leslie
This game is great for the entire family; it should be just fine for a pre-teen.

Hello, should you get the Game of Phones game and then add on extensions? or do extensions (ie: family) work on their own? I am thinking of buying for my 12 year old for all of us to use.
Verified reply from Amy
Each pack can be played on its own or mixed together! The original has 150 cards, while the extensions have 50 each.

It says you need an app. Is that free and can 15 people play at once?
Verified reply from Melody
3+ players can play at a time! You do not need an app, the game will just require you to use your phone. For example, a card might say "Send a message to your parents. First reply wins." You would just need to text your parents for that round (no app involved).

Can you provide a basic description of the "creative" versus "materialism" expansion packs? Does each on focus on a general topic or type of challenge? Or are they just additional similar cards to add to the original deck? Thanks!
Verified reply from Melody
The creative expansion pack will require players to get creative: taking photos, videos, and even drawing. For example, a card might require players to take a photo imitating an emoji. On the other hand, the materialism expansion pack is all about materialism - be it the stuff you own or weird things you can buy on the internet (uh, human skills). For example, a card from that expansion would be, "Find a product released in the decade that you were born."

Does everyone playing the game have to buy this, or can one person purchase the game to be used by the while family?
Verified reply from Alice
Only one person needs to purchase the game, which consists of 100 cards with prompts. 3+ players can play at a time, and you simply take turns drawing a prompt card, and then use features that are already available on every smartphone like sending texts, searching Google, and showing photos from your gallery. Enjoy!

Can this be used if the players are not all in the same room? Example, family members in different states
Verified reply from Marisa
Theoretically they all need to be sitting together to see the commands on the cards, but we're sure it's easy to work around that with Skype, etc.
