There was never a moment that Emilie Shapiro didn't consider herself an artist. "Before I could speak," she says, "I expressed myself through what I made with my hands." While getting her degree in metalsmithing at Syracuse University, she spent a summer at Alchimia Contemporary Jewelry School in Florence, Italy. "I have a massive stone collection that I started when I was two," and to spark inspiration, she says, "I usually pull out my drawers of gems and minerals and something catches my eye."

Yes! Free returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. However, since this is made to order, we recommend double-checking the size before ordering. The ring cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses, P.O. Boxes, or outside the U.S., and it can't be sent in a Gift Bag due to its handmade nature—but you can include a gift message on the packing slip.
