“I started out from my garage. As the business grew, and my wife’s and neighbors' patience stretched, it was time to move to an industrial space. There I can bang and grind at all hours of the night. It's 1,000 square feet of pure metalworking nirvana.”
Chris Crooks took a winding road to get to where he is now—creating imaginative lawn sculptures inspired by the Southwest landscape he calls home. After graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Chris worked in advertising, then ran a printing business with his wife, while painting during his free time. It was when the couple moved to Tucson that Chris collaborated with a metal art manufacturer and fell in love with the art form. He now designs and creates sculptures in his studio at the foot of the Santa Rita Mountains. "I always wanted to make a living doing something genuinely enjoyable," he says. "To get up in the morning raring to go, and never having enough time to do everything you want to do."

A Wonderful Gift for Children!
Our grandchildren live in a suburban home with a large back yard. They range in age from 6 to 11. This T-Rex Garden Sculpture is a fantastic and exciting gift for the kids. They will love it and it will inspire them to learn more about dinosaurs!

AMAZING!
Just received this and the triceratops (in the backyard) for my birthday, which completes my collection! (Pterodactyl next maybe???) From experience, these age so beautifully, withstanding all four seasons. The stakes are extremely solid and sturdy and the sculptures will hold up just fine in high winds, especially with their slender forms. Everybody in the neighborhood LOVES these! We are known as the dinosaur house!

I love this metal art!
I am a huge dinosaur fan and have all 4 of the available sculptures. We bought the first one three or four years ago and they are still standing strong. Highly recommend this artist. I will continue to collect the dinosaurs as they come out. The theme of my backyard pool area is all dino based! Hoping for a stegosaurus next!
