Made us smile - For a while
Put the sculpture it in the backyard where I could see it from my living room. It was a Christmas present and made me smile for a few months but then rusted within four months.

Filled a sharnado sized hole in the yard
An excellent gift for the shark enthusiast. It is a sleek design that will endure all types of weather and easy to secure if sharknado winds come about. If you like Jaws, look forward to shark week the entire year, or you are simply a shark enthusiast, this would be a wonderful addition to your yard that resonates through all the seasons. It most definitely will keep the pesky feral cats away. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Is it supposed to come with stakes?
Verified reply from Amy
Hello! Yes, it should come with 6-inch stakes. If you have received a Land Shark and these are not included in the box (sometimes taped inside, or to other pieces), please reach out to help@uncommongoods.com or call 888-365-0056 and we can further assist you!

Does this need to be treated so it won't rust? If so, what is recommended?
Verified reply from Norma
The Land Shark comes in a rust patina. If you leave your Land Shark outdoors it will be affected by the elements and will change over time. To prevent oversaturation of rust and/or patina the Land Shark can be coated with a protective metal spray annually.

Could this be mounted on a house?
Verified reply from Leslie
The steel segments are equipped with mounting brackets that attach to 6-inch lawn stakes, but at this time it isn't designed to be mounted to a house.

Could these be placed in water (at the edge of a pond, for example)?
Verified reply from Valerie
You can try that, as long as you can anchor it securely in that location. Note that exposure to water will impact the finish, so you may want to treat or paint the item first. It may be best to put it near the water, but not directly in it.
- Wondering mom
Are these double sided. Do they look great from the front and the back?
Verified reply from Valerie
The back looks pretty much the same as the front, the only difference being that on the back you'll see where the stakes attach to anchor the item into the ground.
