“I started out from my garage. As the business grew, and my wife’s and neighbors' patience stretched, it was time to move to an industrial space. There I can bang and grind at all hours of the night. It's 1,000 square feet of pure metalworking nirvana.”
Chris Crooks took a winding road to get to where he is now—creating imaginative lawn sculptures inspired by the Southwest landscape he calls home. After graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Chris worked in advertising, then ran a printing business with his wife, while painting during his free time. It was when the couple moved to Tucson that Chris collaborated with a metal art manufacturer and fell in love with the art form. He now designs and creates sculptures in his studio at the foot of the Santa Rita Mountains. "I always wanted to make a living doing something genuinely enjoyable," he says. "To get up in the morning raring to go, and never having enough time to do everything you want to do."

Outstanding workmanship
These metal quail are the highlight of my renovated home and yard! The exterior of my rural home recently received a substantial upgrade ~ new roof with solar shingles, exterior paint, seamless gutters, and stunning new light fixtures. I worked hard to simplify and beautify the yard, focusing on making it fire-safe and easy to maintain. What's the favorite feature of the renovation for me and for everyone who visits? Birdwatching year round

Exactly like the picture
This quail family arrived in perfect condition and looking precisely as shown. The stakes look long enough to securely hold them in place, and the recipient was thrilled with them. They were packaged with cardboard in between each one, so it was fun to watch them be unwrapped one at a time with surprise expressed over there being another and another and another! #sweepstakes

I would like to install this on top of an adobe wall. A neighbor has a similar set but they are lined up on a stand that has holes so they can be mounted on a fence/wall surface. My fence is adobe (I live in Albuquerque, NM) so I would like to be able to mount this on top of the wall. Is that possible with this product?

Thanks for the question. The Quails come with spikes (that's how they get into the dirt when placed in a garden). We suppose you could try and navigate the spikes into the wall, however that could possibly risk cracking parts of the concrete.
