Benjamin Giguere melds cremated remains into a work of memorial glass art, giving a new, transcendent meaning to the phrase "forever in my heart."
  • You send a teaspoon of your lost loved one's ashes to his studio in the provided kit. A glassblower heats glass in the furnace to a molten state, removes it to add a thin layer of the ashes along with dazzling color swirls, returns it to the furnace, and then sculpts it.
  • The kit also includes an optional questionnaire for sharing details about your loved one, allowing Benjamin to honor their memory and keep their spirit in mind while he crafts each special piece.
  • The memorial heart comes with a light-up base that beautifully illuminates the colors, swirls, and ashes.
  • Your completed memorial will come with a photo that captures poignant moments in the creation of your memorial.
  • Handmade in Rhode Island.

Sending Ashes Safely: What’s Changed and How We Help
We know—sending something as small as a teaspoon of ashes shouldn’t require a whole box. But when it comes to mailing cremains (both human and pet), USPS has strict rules, and we’re here to help you follow them without the headache. As of 2025, USPS requires that all cremated remains be shipped in a special box—not a padded mailer, not any cardboard box you might have at home. This is a nationwide policy, and we’re following it to the letter, because your loved one’s remains deserve respect, care, and proper handling.

Choose one of these options at checkout:

Option 1: I’ll get my own USPS box
  • You’ll need to order the required box directly from USPS—it’s free and easy. Get it here.
  • This is the only box that’s approved for mailing cremains. Using a different box could result in shipment delays or returns.
  • We’ll still send you a collection kit with complete, easy-to-follow instructions for returning the ashes.
Option 2: Send me a USPS shipping box (+$15)
  • We’ll handle the USPS box for you and include it with your collection kit.
  • USPS provides the box free of charge, but the $15 covers our cost to send it to you and get it back safely.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

When Benjamin Giguere accepted a temp job at a small-town crystal factory in Vermont, he never could have known that it’d lead to a 22-year-and-counting career in glass art. But once his interest was piqued, there was no turning back. Benjamin has since apprenticed with masters of the craft all over the world, experimenting with color and techniques and honing his talent. Eventually, this led to creating a thriving studio in Providence, Rhode Island, where he not only showcases his stunning creations, but also passes his knowledge and experience on to future leaders in the field.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label and envelope to mail your completed kit to the artist. An expected ship date for your item will be provided after the artist receives your kit. This item typically ships 4 weeks after the artist receives your kit.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Box. Instead, you can include your Gift Message on the shipment's packing slip.  At this time, this item cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses, or to U.S. Territories including Minor Outlyling Islands. The memorial heart brings comfort and smiles to MY heart.

My stepson had to travel to TX for an extremely stressful situation. He took my gift to him, the heart containing his Fathers ashes, with him needing the calmness and sensitivity of his Father to bring him through the event. It touched my heart to know this gift meant so much to him.

Thinking of getting this in advance for my mother, but I have no idea how long it might be for her. Likewise, as a gift for my friends with dogs. What happens if the gift does not need to be fulfilled for 2-3-5 years?

Kindly note that, due to the special handling required for such precious packages, once ordered, the kit is sent with an Express mailing label included for quick return. The return labels are only valid for 30 days after creation.
