The Experience

Some nights are so special, they deserve to be immortalized—like the first time you met your partner, the night you said I do, or the evening a new family member entered the world. In this one-of-a-kind painting class led by artist Jennifer Funnell, you’ll transform the starry sky from your meaningful moment into a personalized work of art. Before class, you’ll input your special date and time to generate a custom constellation chart, and by the end, you’ll have a beautiful keepsake to honor the night that changed everything.

  • With Jennifer's step-by-step guidance, you'll learn how to gradient your background, transfer constellations, and add custom details, like a glowing moon, shooting stars, names, dates, or meaningful quotes.
  • Hands-on, interactive experience that ensures your finished painting is polished and uniquely yours.
  • You'll probably finish your painting by the end of class, but with Jennifer's helpful instruction, you'll have the skills you need to add those final personal touches when the class is over.
Class length: 90 minutes.

For this class, you'll need your printed sky chart (instructions in link below), the included Acrylic Paint Kit, a palette (wax or printer paper can work), a cup of water, several paper towels, a hair dryer, newsprint or paper, a graphite pencil, a ballpoint pen or stylus tool, painter's tape and an optional ruler.
