Conner Taylor, Jessica Bush, and Andrew McKee know the feeling. Although Conner is a Level 3 certified sommelier, he thinks that appreciating a fine vintage shouldn't require exhaustive study or a stuffy attitude. Along with his wife, Jessica, and designer Andrew, he brainstormed a way to turn the art of blind wine-tasting into what he calls a boozy, fun game night.

With their easy-to-learn game, you and up to five friends take turns sampling and guessing mystery bottles and unlocking cellar doors as you progress through the board. No special knowledge is necessary: You only need a passion for wine and a desire to enjoy it on a deeper level. By the end of your first game, you'll have learned how to blind-taste like a sommelier, and all without putting on airs (unless you want to, of course). Made in China.

Passion for wine brought Conner Taylor and his wife, Jessica Bush, together, and led Conner from being a wine salesman to becoming a certified sommelier. The Atlanta duo partnered with Conner's brother-in-law, designer Andrew McKee, to create a board game that would teach the art of blind wine-tasting in a way that was fun and approachable, even for novices. The couple wear many hats in their new roles as entrepreneurs, but won't look back: "We love that we're building a wine-tasting community."

Hi! There are many options of wines that can be used for this game! it's up to you. Per the maker: Sommify works perfectly with groups of 4-10 players. We think the ideal number of 'teams' is 4-5, but you technically can have more than that. A team can be an individual, a couple, or more. Keep in mind, each round is 1 wine and each team will bring 1 wine.
