Stuart Gardiner truly found his stride when he became an independent graphic designer. After years of pleasing clients in the music industry, going solo has "been a very liberating experience," he says. "Now I get to design my own products just as I want them." It's a benefit for all of us.
The London-based artist, who studied graphic information design, injects his unique sense of humor into his towels-slash-conversation pieces, offering an elucidative take on beloved foods and beverages. "I design visually as I think, working with color, type, image, and form until I'm happy with the final design—or tired of looking at it, and need to move on," he jokes.

Wine pairing towels
This was purchased as a gift and it was sent directly to the recipient. I never saw the towels but the friend, who received them told me they were very nice quality but also very informative. She and her daughter spent quite a bit of time planning their appetizer and wine menu for New Years Eve, with the help of the towels.

The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was because I wish the towels were a little thicker. They are beautiful and well crafted, but if used to clean, I don't think it will last. Highly recommend only using them as decoration or learning purposes, then putting them right back.

Very cute and practical!

Perfect gift for aspiring sommeliers
We have 7 employees in our company. Each employee brought an appetizer and a wine they thought would pair well with it. I was told what the app was in advance and brought a wine that I thought would pair best. Wines were tasted and scored blindly. Those who Beat the Somm got a $100 spa gift certificate, those who couldn't beat the somm got a pairing towel. I had one winner and gave out 6 towels. Needless to say, the prize was absolutely perfect, and a huge hit!
