Beautiful addition to the garden!
This solar light lives up to the hype. Trust all the good reviews! It is really pretty out in my garden. I love that it lights up at night. I purchased the yellow and purple one. I'd love to get all the colors. #sweepstakes

I would buy this again.
Ground is frozen and too hard to place right now. Look as though they will be fine.

Beautiful Glass, Flimsy Stakes
Agree with another reviewer that cheap and flimsy stakes are the downfall of this product. The glass is beautiful and the LEDs glow brightly but the stakes are cheap and will fold very easily at which point the item is basically ruined.

I have purchased this product twice, wanting MORE.
As mentioned, they are displayed in my front and back yards. I can say, having one for several years, this product is very durable. I had NOT stored indoor the one that I had outdoor for several years. It still looks as good as the new ones.

I loved these, I received as a gift and then gave as a gift.
I got these as a gift and I gave them as a gift. I loved them but now they do not light up any more. The people I bought them from have the same problem. Is there something I can do? Are there a replacement for them?

Cheap stakes
I gave this 2 stars because the stakes that come with it are flimsy and they break. All three of mine have broken. The globes themselves are BEAUTIFUL, but what am I supposed to do with 3 beautiful globes and no light stakes to put them on? Really wish you'd offer replacement stakes.
Response from merchant
We're sorry to hear that! We've reached out in a separate email to let you know about our Forever Return Policy!

Do you have any pictures showing any of your solar garden lights at night? I want to see what they look like at nighttime.

Hello! We suggest looking at the customer photos ("see customer photos" under the main photo) for some examples - not just on this page but for the artist's other stakes: https://www.uncommongoods.com/product/starry-night-solar-stake Some customers have posted pix of what they look like at night!

May be a dumb question. But which one is the 'violet' and which one is the 'pale purple' (which I've always thought of as violet! ;)) I am assuming the 'rose right' is the one on the far right. Thanks
Verified reply from Valerie
Violet is on the left, rose in the center and pale purple on the right. Hope this helps!

Just received as a gift. The instructions say to turn on the light switch on for charging. There is a plastic cover over the switch. Do you just push it to on over the plastic cover or is the cover removed first?
Verified reply from Brandon
Yes, you keep the plastic piece on and push the switch on. You should let it charge for 10 hours.

I have had several of these in my garden and recently I have noticed they stopped lighting up. Are there bulbs that need to be replaced? Any ideas?
Verified reply from Alexis
These are actually solar light garden stakes. The light lasts about 6-10 hours after a full 8 hour charge. Keep out of shaded areas ans make sure our little glass flowers get plenty of sunlight just like the real. thing.

Exactly what part of this is plastic? And, do you have any with larger globes? Thank you.
Verified reply from Jeffrey
The stake is coated stainless steel, the rod is plastic. We do not have any larger sizes, sorry.

what material are the stakes made out of? I am looking for solar globes with metal stakes because the plastic ones break too easily.
Verified reply from Valerie
The stake is made of powder coated stainless steal.

I bought one of these last year and would like another one. But my pole broke in half. Can the seller sell me a new pole for my other one?
Verified reply from Nichole
You're in luck! UncommonGoods has a forever return policy. You can return your broken garden stake for one that's brand new. Here's a link to our full return policy: https://support.uncommongoods.com/hc/en-us/articles/225245767-Return-policy

I assume the piece on the stake collects the energy from the sun so it glows at night. Is that piece adjustable so that it can be lowered and not so obvious when on display?
Verified reply from Marisa
That's a great idea - but this one isn't adjustable. We have a new version of these, though, with the solar panel part closer to the bottom of the stake than the top as a means of making it less conspicuous. It's called the Solar Light Garden Stake - Bird Globe, and it's here: http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/solar-light-garden-stake-bird-globe.

If this is not supposed to be submerged, but can be left outside year round, how does it survive a deluge in a rain storm?
Verified reply from Marisa
Thanks for your question To protect the stake from severe water damage, it would be wise to bring it to a covered location if you're expecting flood like conditions. But it can handle a rainshower.
