Beautiful and sturdy
I have bought this bird feeder twice as gifts. Since it is hand blown glass, it is unique and beautifully designed. I was especially happy with the thickness of the glass which will made it durable and less likely to break. Once happily used by birds, it still looks brand new after each cleaning.

It's a work of art!
This bird feeder is gorgeous! I purchased it as one of my client's housewarming gifts. I have no doubt they will love it. It is so beautiful, especially when it catches the light, that even if they don't want to put seed in it, I'm sure they'll put it up as a beautiful garden accent anyway. Very pretty and very well made!

Cheerful Bird (and Squirrel) Feeder
This was a Father's Day gift from my 2 adult sons to their dad. He was very pleased as he is always scattering bird seed around the yard to attract birds, squirrels and even turkeys. The feeder is well made and sturdy, easy to hang anywhere and lovely to look at. Very easy to clean and refill with seeds. It was an all around winner!

Not Just A Bird Feeder!
A bird cafe? Much more, as this beautiful feeder has attracted Golden Finches, Scarlet Cardinals, and even some Blue Jays. As well as other birds which don't come close to matching the bright colors swirled into the glass of the Bird Cafe. It's fun to watch the larger birds awkwardly balance themselves to grab a quick, bite. The smaller birds hop around and snack away as well. This is a very classy addition to our bird feeder collection. The way it sparkles in the sunlight catches the eye. The bright birds add to the beauty of the yard. One of the best Uncommon Goods we've bought!

I received as a gift - beautiful but useless
Useless as a bird feeder as the seed gets wet and even overflows when it rains - no drain hole

I would not buy this product again
This was a gift from my daughter so will be treasured always. The first one came damaged but was promptly replaced which was great! The colors/look of this blown glass feeder is beautiful and should be displayed for its beauty but functionally, from the bird's standpoint, it is not practical. Although the picture looks like it holds a lot of seed it does not hold much seed at all and the design makes it hard for the birds to perch.

can I choose my color?
Verified reply from Ashley
Thank you for your question! At this time the artist does not offer color choices as each piece is hand blown into a unique, organic shape, with ripples of color.

so one just lays birdseed on the bottom glass tray, then covers with the glass dome. So one has to constantly add seed almost on a daily basis?
Verified reply from Allison
The cafe is one piece of glass. There is a 'lip' at the base to add bird seed.

So you can't fill up the glass domed part of this feeder?

Correct, the feed would lay on the extended brim of the dome.

Is the feeder inaccessible for squirrels? Thank you
Verified reply from Allison
The glass may be too smooth for a squirrel to perch, However, squirrels can be tenacious. Here are a few suggestions from the Humane Society: Safflower seed (which attracts species such as cardinals, chickadees and titmice), nyjer thistle (which nourishes goldfinches and others of their kind) or a birdseed mixture that includes a large amount of white proso millet seed (which satisfies the hunger of mourning doves and house finches).
