Great idea and product

I initially purchased these b/c I have tripped over tent stakes in the dark - and it hurts. So I figured these would prevent that. I didn't anticipate the added functionality of being able to hang the lights from other parts of the tent, lines or anything that they can be hooked to. The solar panels are nice but they are large enough to charge the battery without a long exposure - however the battery pack provides enough charge for 2-4 uses and the solar panels do help extend that a little. Going camping this weekend and might invest in another set.

Can you hammer these into the ground ? I'm concerned that the light would be damaged from the impact.
