What Makes It Uncommon

There are pickles and then there are pickles—bold, briny beauties that are so mouthwatering, you can’t resist noshing straight from the jar. The pickles in this set are definitely the latter. Bradley Bennett and his team take farm-fresh California cucumbers and marinate them to peak flavor in signature brines. Crafted by hand with only the best all-natural ingredients, these custom cukes are sure to satisfy even the pickiest pickle perfectionists.

      • Mother’s Puckers: Deli-style garlic pickle halves made with ample dill and garlic in an apple cider vinegar brine. Crunchy and delicious, with no extra heat.

While Bradley Bennett was working in the software industry, he cultivated a hobby of making his own pickles and pickled veggies to gift to friends and family for the holidays. Every year brought more demand, until he realized he could turn his pastime into a profession. Bradley launched his pickle business in 2010 in his hometown of Santa Barbara, California. Today, Bradley and his team of 20 craft more than 30 kinds of pickled delicacies and ship them all around the world.

Excellent Product; Shipping Packaging Needs Improvement

The pickles are awesome--but the first shipment was completely smashed. Uncommon Goods quickly replaced them at no cost, so that wasn't an issue on my end, but I imagine it happens a lot with this item because there wasn't a whole lot of padding to ensure it didn't happen again.

A Pickle Delight

My Granddaughter is a Pickle Lover and when I saw these how in the world could I go wrong ordering them for her birthday. She was delighted and surprised!! Just how many people can say, " I got pickles for my birthday !"

Is there alcohol is these or is it cooked out prior to being brined?

The alcohol that is in the Pickle Gift Set is less than .5%. While the pickles are ‘cooked’ during the pasteurization and canning process, the jar is sealed and the alcohol is not burned or evaporated off.
