We do our best to minimize these effects by aligning darker parts of the design with the darker wood center.

Adorable
I purchased two of the wood portrait ornaments. I ordered them to gift as Christmas gifts to my tow sons who dogs as members of their family. The portraits of the dogs were fantastic and looked exactly like Penny and Winnie. I mentioned to a friend that I was purchasing this and she looked at the item and went ahead and ordered one for her son. She was highly pleased. I would highly recommend purchasing this item for yourself or as a gift to a pet owner. My sons loved their gift.

The image was not centered on the wood block nor was it as dark and vibrant as those depicted in the catalog. Overall, the finished product was clunky looking.
