Basically a blank journal with a few questions
Wow! This is so disappointing! The vast majority of pages are blank journal pages. There are about 35 pages of questions (some pages have only 1 question!) and otherwise the "106 gilded pages" are basically blank, empty journal pages. Not as advertised and I'll try to return it.

The journal is designed with ample free lines to allow for deep, thoughtful exploration of each prompt, some of which are intentionally spacious to encourage more personal reflection. Also, we want to highlight that the entirety of the journal is viewable in PDF form under the “Notes” section on the right side of the product page. This is provided specifically so customers can preview the format and content before purchasing. We hope this helps clarify the purpose and structure of the journal. Perfect gift for my mom!!
This was the absolutely perfect birthday gift for my mom! It will be a keepsake that can be passed down to her children, grandchildren, and great grand children once she fills it out. The prompts are interesting and helpful, and I can't wait to read about her life's story. I'm sure I'm going to learn a lot of things I didn't know before (and maybe that she just didn't think to tell anyone, but now has the perfect excuse to write it down for posterity!). #sweepstakes

Perfect for older family members!
This is perfect for my aunt and uncle, who are in their 80s! I had seen something similar but it required on-line access for weekly questions to answer and they are not good with the computer. Now they can leave their legacy/stories at their leisure!

What a surprise
I was looking for something unique and this is wonderful. My mom's been working on her family history for the past few years but she doesn't have a lot of her own personal life details and this is where this gift comes in perfectly. It has so many details you can treasure later on. I'd definitely recommend this if you need something that is thoughtful and not take up much room..

Beautiful record of memories
I purchased this for my 80yr old father in hopes that he would start recording the memories of his life. He absolutely loves this book! He said the prompts allow him to recall memories long buried. A valuable treasure for his grandchildren to learn more about him and his life. It is beautifully bound and the pages are great quality.

Best idea
After losing all but 1 of my grandparents, I did not want my children to miss out on the stories of their grandparents. I got this for my mother-in-law who travels and was a teacher. She does so many things. I wanted her to have a place to share her memories before they are gone. Alzheimer's runs in the family and I am hoping this book will have multiple uses in the future. We love her so much and I want to be able to remember what she writes about her life.

Amazing gift! or gift for your child!
I bought this book 2 year ago for my mother, and for this Christmas, Santa brought it to me. I am actually writing in the book with my 14-year old daughter. This then leads to more discussion- it's been great. Everyone should have this for their children.

What is the font size? Is there a large print version? My grandmother has a hard time reading small don't.
