Very Poor Craftsmanship!
I was so disappointed when I received this book stand which I had ordered as a gift for my friend's birthday. It looked like I had built this myself - and it may have even looked better than this! The quality of the wood is poor, the assembly is poor, staining is poor, the words on one side are not centered and the cutouts for mug and glasses poorly made. This looks like it's been sitting outside in weather for years! Just Awful.

Pretty and functional

Poor quality control
The quality control in this was poor. Nick's on wood throughout. Rough edges where wood glued together and on the inside portion for phone, it wasn't sanded or sealed. Very disappointed as it's for a gift.

Couldn't Be A More Perfect Booker Lover's Gift
If you have someone in your life that loves books this is the most perfect unthinkable gift that could be given! I bought this as a gift as long with the qr book mug and it's an awesome combo that they use every day. Highly recommended. It's unique and functional!

I purchased this as a "more thoughtful than flowers" Mother's Day gift for a first-time mom in my family. As a reader and tea drinker, she was surprised and pleased. I think it makes a great reminder for a little personal time. It arrived in a very timely fashion. Unfortunately, the note I added didn't seem to make it with the gift. I'll add an extra layer of communication next time I send the gift direct.

Correct! You could use the spot next to the mug holder for a number of items. Pens, pencils, sticky notes, book marks, stickers. The choice is yours :^)

Great question! Most magazines would not fit this reading valet for a variety of technical reasons, size, spine strength, firmness of the paper, etc. :^) Enjoy with your favorite book instead!
