It's top of the pops o'clock 24/7 when Jeff Davis' shiny LP is ticking away the time. Anyone who's ever been in a band or dreamed of hitting it big while belting out tunes in their car will get a kick out of having their own personalized record. Made from an upcycled vinyl LP that's finished in a dazzling metallic hue, the two-tone label features your choice of "band name" (usually a name or two), "album title," and five "song titles" (real or your own invention). Commemorate a newborn solo act, a romantic duet, or your favorite golden oldies. Hand-assembled in Philadelphia.

After working as a designer and builder of theatrical sets, Jeff Davis enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design to earn a master’s degree in industrial design. Tapping into a cultural shift toward sustainability, the Massachusetts native decided to upcycle an old vinyl LP into a bowl—and got rave reviews. Now Jeff puts his ingenuity to work designing housewares and gifts made from out-of-commission vintage records, all brought to life by a small team of fabricators in his Philadelphia workshop.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. You will receive a proof within 1-2 business days from our custom order team. At that time, you can request a revision or approve the proof. If we do not receive a response within 7 days, your proof will automatically be approved and your order will be put into production. An expected ship date for your item will be provided after proof approval. This item typically ships 2 weeks after proof approval.

Items that are made to order or oversized can't be sent in a Gift Box. Instead, you can include your Gift Message on the shipment's packing slip.  At this time, this item cannot be shipped to APO/FPO addresses, or to U.S. Territories including Minor Outlyling Islands. Fabulous Gift Idea

What a timeless transformation from old records to a modern time piece. My husband loved this gift and appreciated the old record theme since he was a DJ in his youth. I loved that I was able to choose new songs to use on the label to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

can this be put into a frame?

Yes it can. The clock itself is 12" in diameter, and the clock mechanism at the back makes the whole piece about 3" deep, so you would need to purchase a shadow box frame deep enough to accommodate that depth.
