Made by fusing a pair of reclaimed records from the rock genre, the stylish retro stand (with featured artist, songs, and recording-company label still intact) securely cradles the jacket of what's currently playing, allowing music lovers to look lovingly at the cover art from afar. After working as a designer and builder of theatrical sets, Jeff Davis enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design to earn a master’s degree in industrial design. Tapping into a cultural shift toward sustainability, the Massachusetts native decided to upcycle an old vinyl LP into a bowl—and got rave reviews. Now Jeff puts his ingenuity to work designing housewares and gifts made from out-of-commission vintage records, all brought to life by a small team of fabricators in his Philadelphia workshop.

Really Cute Display Piece

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, who loves vinyl records and has an extensive collection. He really loves it! How does the record stand stay upright? You should show the back ...is there a "leg" behind the record?

The back doesn't have a 'leg' propping up the stand. The bottom 1/4 of the LP is folded under for support.
