After working as a designer and builder of theatrical sets, Jeff Davis enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design to earn a master’s degree in industrial design. Tapping into a cultural shift toward sustainability, the Massachusetts native decided to upcycle an old vinyl LP into a bowl—and got rave reviews. Now Jeff puts his ingenuity to work designing housewares and gifts made from out-of-commission vintage records, all brought to life by a small team of fabricators in his Philadelphia workshop.

Cool accesory, well made
Well made, seemingly sturdy bottle opener, given by me as a gift. Mine had a black and white record label, which artistically was a poor choice, offering no contrast or color accent to the opener. But the recipient was pleased nonetheless.

These are SO FUN and SO WELL MADE!!!
To be honest, I ordered them and got two Broadway show ones which I did not give to the intended recipients but to another friend who loves Broadway and he LOVED them!!! I ordered two more and got Glenn Miller and Andy Gibb which are so random and yet so fun and I gave them to the recipients today and they LOVED them!!! Part of the fun is getting what you get and they're all so well made and unique!!! What a hit and I'm so happy!!!

Silly me, I thought there were 3....
The picture showed 3, so I thought it was a pack of 3. Though it is still a decent bottle opener...I wish the sides were a little more rounded/smooth, but it is fine. Kind of a lame gift with only one, though!

Bartenders Can Never Have Too Many Bottle Openers
I ordered this for Christmas for my boyfriend who is a bartender and a musician. The only things I was worried about was (1) how strong it would be since there were no pictures of the back of the opener or a description of what else it was made with besides the record. (2) There is no comment section or anything on the order to make any kind of requests, so I was just hoping it wasn't a record with a yellow label because he hates yellow. When it came in, I was happy that it was the De-Lovely album, and when he started asking for hints, I sent him a link to the album. hahaha The record is affixed to a stainless steel bottle opener, so it is very sturdy. Even though he has a lot of bottle openers, he keeps this one by his favorite chair. :) #sweepstakes

But I was happy that I got the It's De-Lovely album, and when he asked for a hint, I sent him a link to the album. hahahaha The record is affixed to stainless steel, so it is a very sturdy bottle opener. Even though he has several bottle openers, he keeps this one by his favorite chair. :)
