Shelly Klein lives and works in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design. She earned a BFA with an emphasis in painting, and has since divided her time between painting and designing for her product line. The two disciplines often overlap: Shelly’s painted illustrations are used to decorate her product designs. Working with Uncommon Goods has helped Shelly produce pieces beyond the manufacturing capabilities of her own studio—and it allows her to connect with a large audience of art lovers from around the world.

All three people I ordered these customized mugs for loved them, and I did, too! The mugs were easy to order, and arrived in perfect condition with sturdy packing materials so that I could mail them to my friends. The mugs are good quality and the artwork was fun and charming.

Perfect surprise for the family on Christmas
These were ADORABLE!!! My mom moved before Christmas and I wanted everyone at the cabin to feel apart of it, so I surprised them all with these mugs. Had everyone open them before their Christmas morning coffee and they were cracking UPP!!! The hobby for each person was spot on, and the silly stick figure like image made it perfectly casual for a mug. Totally recommend!

Best Family Gift!
My sister & her family absolute loved their personalized mugs! I added gift cards to my nephews' mugs as I wasn't sure they'd like the mugs as much as their parents but they said it was one of their favorite gifts.

Hello, we are interested in purchasing a mug for each one of our teachers. We would love to give them a separate lid to keep beverages contained and was wondering if you have a lid that you can recommend that is compatible or would it be best to take the 3.25 dimension as a resource? Hi! We recommend looking for universal silicone lids or travel mug lids the fit a 3.35" diameter. Please note that this is just a suggestion, and we can't guarantee a perfect fit, but you can give it a try! Your teachers are going to love these mugs!

I'd like to order a total of 10, the max is 8 at $160 ($20/mug), but the price for 2 is $52 ($26/mug). Is there a way to get a price reduction for those final 2 mugs as a part of our total order?

Great question! At this time, we only offer up to 8 mugs in a single order. This is due to workflow preferences by the artist. For that reason, each mug set quantity is set at a different price. However, we will gladly pass along your feedback :^)

Hi! I know this is already very customized, and such a great idea! I am wondering if it is possible to make the dogs ears like P25 or P23. Aiming the ears to have the dog look more like a Pitbull mix but I still like the height and spots of the dog chosen. Thanks so much!
