Colleen Huth is a self-taught slab builder from rural Wisconsin. She began with a love of drawing and painting and earned a degree in 2D design from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. After college, she found a part-time job at a pottery studio, where she quickly discovered her passion for ceramics. She chose slab building because it allowed her to incorporate her 2D design skills. Colleen’s inspiration comes from the natural world and her love of unique ceramic mugs. She started selling her work at local craft shows, and within a few years, her pieces were featured in galleries across the country. She now works from her home studio, filling orders and exploring new ideas daily.

Simply beautiful!
I love pottery, and this cup is crafted as a beautiful piece. I have two children on earth and one in heaven. When I look at this cup, I think of my 9-year-old son who passed away at the age of 6 years olds due to a frebile seizure in his sleep. This cup brings so much comfort to me when I am drinking tea. I love the warmth and comfort of this mug; it creates joy and peace in my heart, and any mother of many children would love this beautiful mug!

Apparently a Mug Snob
A self proclaimed mug aficionado I got this for myself for mother's day. First off, it is smaller than I was expecting. You can barely get 3 fingers into the handle. It also has their really weird fold to the clay that I didn't notice when I purchased it but it is pictured on the website. I am curious if keeping it clean in the odd seams is going to be a problem. (see pics). Overall I love the cute mama bear and cub design but if it was to be a gift for someone else I'd not give it. Because it's for me and since I used a coupon it's easier to just keep it than go through the trouble to return it. I would most certainly not recommend this mug.

Mom's Deserve More Options
Quality 5 starts! Style 5 stars! Uniqueness 1 Star. :( I received one (Husband) from my adult daughter, who knows of my fondness for deer. For me it represents my wife and 2 daughters. Upon the opening and subsequent sharing of the mug with my wife, it was obvious she had no love for it, and why would she? She understands the concept, even more so as a gift to a mom with her two kids. But she does not care for deer. In no way shape or form. She has favorite animals of course the bear she adored, but with only two kids means nothing. Just wish there were more options.

So beautiful
I ordered this for myself. I love this handmade mug and the deer. I have deer in my yard, so I love them. I ended up buying another one for my girlfriends birthday. She also loved it. It's really beautiful!

Perfect gift for Mom
My son picked this out for mom for Mother's Day. His favorite animal is an elephant, and he is our only child, so the mother & child elephant was a perfect fit! It is a nice sized mug, and my wife loves it.

I "made way for ducklings"
My daughter has a stressful job and had recently found Jasmine tea before bed helped with sleep. She decided this was the perfect cup to dedicate to that evening ritual. Not only did it remind her of her own children, it reminded her that it came from her mother!
