Disappointing. Notes aren't as labeled
The notes aren't accurate. We needed this for a concert and needed the notes labeled on the side of the glass. The notes are actually a step lower. Also the notes halfway up barely make any sound. The top three notes don't sound at all

They really are tuned correctly
These were a wedding gift for two high school band directors. They were thrilled, and I'm sure they will use the glasses often. In case you're wondering how accurately tuned the glasses are, my kids used an electronic tuner to check them. They were exactly right (in tune and on key). Of course, the recipients checked the tune as well. So you can give these to musicians without worrying.

Even Better Than Expected!
The tones made by these glasses surpassed our expectations. The less liquid in the glass, the easier it is to get the tone, so we assigned our glasses according to age and proficiency, and started trying to play stuff. We didn't get far with that before we discovered how calming this activity is. We found that we all just plain liked the process of making the glasses sing, and we felt relaxed by that and by the sounds they made. Then, of course, you could put wine into them! :) Be aware that the quantities of liquid needed to produce most of the notes would have you under the table in no time. We used water in most of our glasses, and two of the kids had milk and juice, respectively. Most of us are musicians, and this was a definite 'win' purchase.

They are fun and entertaning. They do produce the correct sounds to our amateur ears. Most of all they do require a learning curve, but that became our favorite part. Just taking turns trying to make the correct sounds could be entertaining for hours. With all due respect to the time someone put into these glasses they are a bit pricey for their purpose.

Can someone with low vision feel the lines on the glasses? Or are the outside of the glasses smooth, making them only usable to people with vision? Thank you!

Are the pitches in the 5th octave? i.e. (A5, C5, etc.)

Though it may be possible to arrive at the 5th range the Major Scale Musical Wine Glasses are not set for it. Variations in glass shape, the density of the crystal and the amount of water or type of liquid used per glass will reach the note specified but not perfectly.
