Great product, but ……..
Great product, fun idea, and useful, but ….. they put huge stickers on the largest spaces in the trays. Couldn't even use them without a whole day of trying to pick off, peal off, soak off, scrape off and rub off the stickers, the leftover glue, the tiny immovable bits of sticker. Seriously? You fill the entire large compartments up with stickers? Frustration.

Great modern take on old school tv dinner trays!
I bought these as a gift for my adult daughter who is very particular about not wanting food items on her plate touching. These went over so well with her! She was thrilled to have the quality divided tray that brought back some nostalgic feelings of tv dinner trays from her childhood! Highly recommend!!

My disabled sister has a hard time at meals. This is perfect for her. It keeps her food separate or is great for keeping food and sauces separate! I bought one for each of our siblings homes for her!

My favorite way to serve individualized meals
I use these trays everyday to serve meals to serve meals to my invalid mother, who prefers to eat in a chair in the living room rather than sit at a table. Since the trays are microwave safe, I am able to heat her food right in the tray, and keep her main dish separated from her vegetables and fruits. The tray is dishwasher safe, so clean up is easy and the tray is ready for use the next day.

Great TV Trays!
It works great for my mom who is in her mid-90s. Either she, my sibling, or I can cook her meals and then section them off and refrigerate them. When it's time to eat, she or my sibling can warm the plate in their microwave. Plus, the portions are just right for her. I also use mine at times to just separate food liquids depending on what I have cooked. I also ordered a pair of two for myself.

Great TV Trays!
After soaking my 4 TV trays in hot water and Dawn dishwashing liquid for 15 minutes, I was able to get the stickers off. I also used my Scotch brand green scrub pad on them. The sticker situation needs to be resolved on this product. I have used this product and love it and will also use these TV trays for my mom's meals. I'll be able to fix her food plates at my residence and deliver the food to her residence already portioned. Then, the meal can just be reheated in the microwave. No more transporting food in lots of individual containers.

How do I remove the sticker?!
Verified reply from Marisa
Thanks for your question. We are sorry about that pesky sticker and are working to get a weaker glue on it in the future. In the meantime, we recommend either a solution like "Goo Gone," or putting it in the dishwasher for 3 washings. Thanks for shopping with UncommonGoods.

This is only letting me order one set of 4 dinner trays. I wanted to order 4 sets, so I would have had 12. Why is this?
Verified reply from Cassie, Community Moderator
We're glad you're interested in the Stoneware Trays, Sandy! Unfortunately, this item is out of stock, so you won't be able to add it to your cart right now. You can select the 4 tray set from the drop down menu, but then a blue box will pop up asking you to enter your email address. If you submit your contact info we will let you know when the trays are available. Out of stock items are usually available in 2-4 weeks from the time they sell out. We're sorry for any inconvenience.
What is the difference between the 2 prices, on the order page?
Verified reply from Marisa
Thanks for your question. A set of two Stoneware TV Dinner Trays is $20. A set of four is $38.

Do these have a cover/ lid? For freezer storage, I'll take 12 if they do. Living alone I cook for a couple of days ahead, these would be perfect if they have lids!
Verified reply from Cassie, Community Moderator
While these trays are freezer safe, they don't come with lids--so you'd want to cover them with tinfoil or plastic wrap. Since they are stoneware, you'll want to let the cold tray warm up a bit before sticking it in the oven (let your frozen food thaw in the fridge or at room temperature before baking), because an extreme temperature change could cause it to crack.
Are these dishes freezer safe?
Verified reply from Cassie, Community Moderator
Although the ceramic itself is freezer safe, it could crack under extreme temperature changes. So, if you freeze food in the trays, make sure to let them defrost before you pop them in the oven.
can you bake in this plate?
Verified reply from Cassie, Community Moderator
Yes! The Stoneware TV Dinner trays are oven safe, so your next meal can be a home- cooked hot dish in perfect portions.

It doesn't specify in the details, but is this product safe in a freezer scenario? I'm looking for products to make homemade tv dinners in with leftovers and whatnot. I'm thinking press and seal wrap and stacked in between cardboard dividers would work given that these are deemed "Freezer safe"
Verified reply from Cassie, Community Moderator
The stoneware is freezer safe, so you could prepare your dinners and freeze them right in the trays. But keep in mind that ceramic can crack when exposed to extreme temperature changes. If you do freeze food in the trays, make sure to take them out of the freezer a while before you're ready to cook. As long as you let them defrost before you heat them, they can handle both freezer and oven duty.
