"There's a fine line between a rut and a groove," potter Brian Kunkelman likes to say. Brian goes with the flow—from the water outside his studio window to the music playing near his potter's wheel, to the meditative rhythm of working with clay. Using little more than his hands and his trusty powered foot wheel, he shapes stoneware into clever bowls that blend organic elegance with everyday utility.
