This was the most amazing gift
I got this for my tech challenged mom for Christmas and she cannot stop raving about it. She loves that it has no wires but still amplifies the sounds throughout the room she's in. It's super cute on the counter too. 10/10 recommend.

Great Product
Once I received a replacement for the first damaged shipment, I found this to be a great product! It won't boom like an electric speaker, of course, but it does amplify sound to a very solid degree and adds a warm and wonderful tone as well. No cords required. For everyday listening, I don't think you'll miss the electric speaker at all. The only hangup I can see is that you can't really charge your phone while it's housed in the speaker. Minor drawback. Also, if you're choosing between this and a green amphibious style speaker also on this site (I mention it because I'm not sure whether that review will post—no confirmation), choose this one. I hate knocking any artisan and it's not my intention, but I ordered both and this one functions much better.

Unique and elegant
I bought this because I wanted a speaker that could blend in well with my decor. Because it's a natural amplifier (not an electric speaker), the volume isn't drastically louder, but it does add a nice LP-esque warmth to the sound. We leave it in our dining room and use it anytime we want a bit of music with our meal but don't feel like going to set up our electric speakers. I also really like the color and the beautiful design.

The perfect gift, again!
Uncommongoods is my go to for those hard to shop for people, been happily shopping here for years. And my recipients are just as happy. The Boss. perfect gift for the music lover

Does the phone have to be docked, or is it Bluetooth?

The Acoustic Gramophone Phone Amplifier is not Bluetooth-enabled—the phone must be physically docked into the wooden base for sound amplification.
