Your New Sous-Chef

Some of the most delicious sauces require more attention than a newborn baby. But they're totally worth it (delicious sauces and babies). When a recipe calls for continuous stirring, put this automatic stirrer to work. Pick the battery-powered or rechargeable option, the latter of which lasts 3.5 – 9 hours, depending on speed, and takes about four hours to charge back up. Place it in your pan with any simmering or low-heat liquid, and go do the million other things you need to do. We'll be over at 8. Made in China.

Bought two

I purchased one as a gift and one to keep. This is such a great idea. My husband makes tapioca a lot and you have to continually stir it for 45 minutes. Makes it hard to step away when kids needs assistance. This is the perfect solve for that problem!

Buy this for every cook you know!

I got this for my mom for Christmas and she has used it at least 3 times and said it works so great! She is super happy not to have to stand at the stove and stir forever she's told all her friends about it and think it's the best invention.

What do the dots on the top mean? Is it a timer? How does it work?

Hi there! This is timed for anywhere from 1-10 minutes. Those dots will light up red to indicate how much time is left (there are 10 dots total). When time is up, all the dots flash and it will pulse gently. Everything can be powered and set by pushing the button on the top.

This is mostly designed for any simmering or low-heat liquid, like a sauce. We imagine with eggs, you may encounter some difficulty with uneven cooking around the edges.

It is best used in no more than 2 inches of liquid. As it gets higher, it could get slower, also the motorhead should never be submerged.
