Beautifully finished steamer
Very impressed with the finish details on this item. THe glossy finish is smooth and clearly well done. Used it a couple times already with good success and it is DISH WASHER SAFE!!!

Perfect
The quality is beautiful. Could sit on the counter permanently (between uses) if you wanted. I thought it might be a little small, but turned out to be the perfect size for a double portion of veggies. My husband even thought they came out perfectly (which rarely happens).

ought it was hand made
Item works great but I thought it was hand made. The package even included a card with the photos of the artists, which I felt strongly suggested that they had made it. However, looking further it's very clearly marked as made overseas and mass produced, and the artists were merely the designers. I feel that it's over-priced and the description and packaging are misleading. I will pay more for a product to support small business and artisans, but this product is not hand made

It's pretty but lid design isn't great
I asked for this for Christmas as a replacement for a lidded plastic steamer I use a lot for cooking frozen vegetables. This one is ceramic and pretty. But when I drain the vegetables, a lot get caught in the lid's rim, like peas and frozen vegetable sized cut up carrots etc. They are hard to remove. The small handles can be hard to hold when draining also.

This was a Christmas present "for us." Every Christmas, we purchase items that improve our life together. Perfect for the Vegetable Enthusiasts

Convenient and attractive
The steamer works as I'd hoped and makes it more convenient to steam veggies in the microwave. The handles on the sides don't get hot, making it easier to pick the pot up after steaming, and the holes in the top can be used to easily drain any excess water out too.

Up to what temperature is this safe to in the oven?

We do not recommend any higher than 350 degrees F when placing the Veggie Steamer in the oven.

The microwave steamer is a very versatile tool! We've heard that coating the inside with a bit of oil helps the eggs come out easy (or over easy, if you like). Egg cooking times and temperatures may vary, but feel free to experiment and whip up something delicious!
