Care
Please note: because these use a natural rubber in the stopper, it leaches oil. To help avoid the stopper falling out over time, take a small amount of rubbing alcohol and apply it to the opening of the feeder as well as around the stopper, this will help dry out the oil. This can be done somewhat frequently, or as needed. When filling the feeder, make sure to turn the feeder upside down, fill, then press in hard and slightly twist the stopper into place, then move the feeder to right-side up. Lastly, as the feeder empties, the vacuum seal can be lost, refill the feeder as needed to ensure no nectar is lost.

Obsessed with this Hummingbird Feeder!
Our daughter-in-law stated she is "obsessed" with the hummingbird feeder. The feeder is beautiful and hummingbirds were attracted to it right away. Love it!

Beautiful but now that we've had it a couple of years, leaks
This item is more beautiful than in the pictures. I'd rate it 5 stars if it hadn't started leaking this year. No replacement base to purchase so we're going to have to toss it. Very sad.

Mother-in-law loves it!
Bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law for Christmas, and she loves it! She says it's absolutely beautiful. Would we be able to order replacement seals if the original wears out? They live in Las Vegas and the summers are HOT, and they leave their feeders out year-round since there are hummingbirds that don't migrate further south for the winters there. Rubber seals can dry rot there in a couple years. That's her only concern, but if we can get replacement seals then it will be perfect!
