During lifetimes spent around New England's forests and seacoast, Arra David and Anne Johnson have become masters of bringing the outdoors in. Stone, sun, wind, rain, and waves provide their raw materials. Arra and Anne transform them into well-designed, innovative works of handmade art with the help of a group of dedicated artisans they lovingly call "rockers." "We work together as a closely knit family," says Arra. "We all put our hearts, brains, muscles, and fingertips into everything we build." They use ethically forested wood, and replace each stone gathered from the water with a quarry rock that will eventually become another worn beauty.

Love these little characters!
I have put my set of rock ghosts in my front yard with my flowers and other lawn ornaments. They fit in very well. They add a great touch to what I already have. My only suggestion is to have them bigger. As I walk by my lawn and look at them, they are hard to spot among my other lawn ornaments.

Garden Ghosts for 3!
When I first saw these ghosts staring back at me from the catalog, it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! I have 2 sisters and we all love gardening, so these ghost just called to me and said "we will be perfect gifts for all three of us!" My reasoning was, I would make it known that when we looked at our garden ghosts, when we watered our flowers or raked leaves, we should think of our other two sisters and feel connected, We weren't able to get together for Christmas, so now they are Birthday Ghosts. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and other catalog customers.

Garden Ghosts Rock!
I was so taken by these Garden Ghosts when I first saw them that I ordered two sets as Christmas gifts for close friends. I am delighted that I'm getting photos from them as the rocks get moved from room to room and appear to be peering through foliage or peeking around baskets. I'm ordering a set for myself to be able to join in on the fun!
