During lifetimes spent around New England's forests and seacoast, Arra David and Anne Johnson have become masters of bringing the outdoors in. Stone, sun, wind, rain, and waves provide their raw materials. Arra and Anne transform them into well-designed, innovative works of handmade art with the help of a group of dedicated artisans they lovingly call "rockers." "We work together as a closely knit family," says Arra. "We all put our hearts, brains, muscles, and fingertips into everything we build." They use ethically forested wood, and replace each stone gathered from the water with a quarry rock that will eventually become another worn beauty.

as holidays and birthdays approach, it is such a great idea to find something unique to give to a family member or friend. my son and his wife are both wine aficionados so these granite coasters, made by a company in new hampshire, with wine glasses was a perfect holiday gift! when we spoke christmas morning , they echoed my sentiments exactly! .... a nice chardonnay was on the menu for dinner!~

Small Glasses
Had to return these. The stones are great, but they don't fit any of our stemless glasses and the two glasses that come with the set are fairly small. I got an annoyed look from my wife when she opened this for Mother's Day

Not practical
I received this as a gift and loved the natural stone. However, there are a number of issues with this product. It really doesn't keep the wine cold, the only glass that fits is the small one it comes with and the stone "ice" cube doesn't do anything and is awkward to put into the glass. My husband picked up the coaster with the glass in it and the bottom fell out shattering the glass.

I would buy this product again.
Great idea. Looks great. Unique and classy. The glasses that were included are super small. That's my only issue. I usually drink a glass of wine, not a couple shots of it. I still think it's a great gift & you can find larger glasses that will fit with it.
