As a physician and marathon runner who also has a sweet tooth, Sherif Badawy thinks indulgence should still be good for you. After moving from Egypt to the US, he found store-bought baklava overly sweet and lacking quality, so he set out to reinvent his favorite confection with a healthy twist. Inspired by baking masters in Jordan, his version is packed with premium nuts and minimal sugar. Crafted with care and flown fresh to Chicago, his baklava proves that great taste and nutrition can go hand in hand.

Delish!
I got the gift pack with a variety of flavors and I'm having a hard time choosing my favorite- they're all delicious! They're not too rich or sticky which makes them the perfect snack. They come through on the promise of no sticky fingers!

Unique flavors, traditional and tasty!!
I have not had flavor profiles quite like this before. My husband is from Lebanon so I'm used to trying all his family's different types, and Dar Baklava is better than homemade. The flavors on all types are so unique and the ingredients are premium - that hashtag #nostickyfingers is #nolie! Enjoyed the flavors! Having the variety for a crowd is so nice. Cannot wait to gift to my in-laws and get credit for finding the best baklava out there. Thank you!

Excellent baklava!
The baklava was not only delicious, the pieces were the right size to just pop in your mouth. I bought these for my husband but not sure who ate more! They were loaded with nuts and each different one was tastier than the one before. These are definitely on my to buy list again and again. Thank you Uncommon Goods for carrying great items.

It is the Ultimate!
Many years go a friend from Nepal would gift us with boxes of baklava that had been made by Lebanese magicians. Oh my it was always sinfully good. Since then any baklava we bought was like eating cardboard. Not anymore! Uncommon Goods offers an amazing Ultimate Baklava Set, so uncommonly delicious! Heavenly good. We will be buying again and again. Sorry, no images, we ate it all!

I absolutely love baklava and grew up eating it homemade. Over the years of my adult life, I have had various version of it. Some overly sticky and sweet, some just right, but these are in a whole different category. The inedible kind. They do not at all taste like baklava and have an odd aftertaste. Neither me nor my husband could eat them. What a shame.

You receive two individual boxes with your order, very nicely packaged. Clearly made with a lot of care for health and quality, they are delicious! And somehow, no sticky fingers!

Yummy baklavas!
Simply the perfect texture that has top quality ingredients, rich in filling and right balance of sweetness.. Well done to Dar Baklava for bringing such healthy sweet snack that makes you enjoy the taste while still feeling light after having it! Got two gift boxes to share with friends and colleagues.. everyone liked the variety of nuts and most of the box was gone in no time.. Highly recommend as an ideal snack or gift!
