After moving from Egypt to the US, he found store-bought baklava overly sweet and lacking quality, so he set out to reinvent his favorite confection with a healthy twist. Inspired by baking masters in Jordan, his version is packed with premium nuts and minimal sugar. Crafted with care and flown fresh to Chicago, his baklava proves that great taste and nutrition can go hand in hand.

It is the Ultimate!

Many years go a friend from Nepal would gift us with boxes of baklava that had been made by Lebanese magicians. Oh my it was always sinfully good. Since then any baklava we bought was like eating cardboard. Not anymore! Uncommon Goods offers an amazing Ultimate Baklava Set, so uncommonly delicious! Heavenly good. We will be buying again and again. Sorry, no images, we ate it all!

Awful

I absolutely love baklava and grew up eating it homemade. Over the years of my adult life, I have had various version of it. Some overly sticky and sweet, some just right, but these are in a whole different category. The inedible kind. They do not at all taste like baklava and have an odd aftertaste. Neither me nor my husband could eat them. What a shame.

Yummy baklavas!

Simply the perfect texture that has top quality ingredients, rich in filling and right balance of sweetness.. Well done to Dar Baklava for bringing such healthy sweet snack that makes you enjoy the taste while still feeling light after having it! Got two gift boxes to share with friends and colleagues.. everyone liked the variety of nuts and most of the box was gone in no time.. Highly recommend as an ideal snack or gift!

Very tasty, but I was sent a smaller box with fewer than 40.

I love that these aren't too sweet and syrupy, and they have a good flavor and crunch; however, I was sent a smaller box of 22 with 3 single-serve packs thrown in the shipping package. Even with those single-serve packages, the total still only comes out to 33 out of the promised 40. For the price, I'm really not happy. The upside is that these are to be shared amongst my own family. If I had been buying this as a gift for something, I would have been very upset.

Decadent!!

These were so yummy!! I preferred them as is described, less sweet than common baklava. My husband preferred a little more sweet so he added a touch of honey! Will look so beautiful set out for the holidays!
