With over a decade of working in the storied institution, Katy's expertise spans teas, coffees, and cocoas from around the world, and she's traveled to estates in India and Sri Lanka to learn firsthand. Her rare role involves training staff and customers worldwide, sharing the cultural richness and ceremonial joy that tea provides. Katy's favorite moments? This was an excellent, fun, and engaging class.

The instructor was fun and so very knowledgeable. Very friendly and interesting to listen to. The tea samples were delicious. I would highly recommend this class and it is more fun when you do it together with a friend. One more thing the teas were packaged beautifully!!!!!.

Delightful and educational

If you love tea this is the perfect class for you. The instructor was engaging and very knowledgeable, an absolutely enjoyable experience. She did not miss a beat. The tea we sampled was delicious and was beautifully packaged. I would highly recommend this class as a gift. I just LOVED it. What a treat!!!!!!!

I only wish it was longer!

I love this class and had a wonderful time! It was given to me as a birthday gift and it was even better than I expected. I learned so much, and I thought the instructor was well spoken, knowledgeable, and engaging. I could listen to her talk about tea and the history of tea for hours. And I only wish that the class had been a little bit longer and that we could've tried more teas, but I would definitely consider buying this class again or purchasing it for a friend! It was a great experience and I would like to try another class and also would consider doing a more advanced version of the tea tasting class.

Awesome Tea Experience with tea expert Katy Woollard!

This was such a fun experience and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of the workshop! I gave this as a Christmas gift to my brother, who lives far away. We don't have the chance to see each other very often so this was theperfect opportunity for us to do something "together"! Katy was so knowledgable and really interesting and intriguing to listen to and learn from! I wish she could have spoken longer! This was a really, really fun event and I look forward to signing up for another experience based on how much fun this one was!

A fun tea experience…

I thoroughly enjoyed the tea tasting event that was a Birthday gift from my daughter. The host, Katie made all the difference. She was so engaging and informative! I learned so much about the history of tea. I would recommend this to any tea lover.

A captivating tea adventure

My friend surprised me with this online tea adventure. I was amazed how presenter and product specialist Katy Woollard covered all or most things tea-related within the time limit. I was captivated as I moved from being "tea passionate to tea knowledgeable." I also loved the tea samples and the William Morris-inspired design of the packages. The wallpaper patterns on the individual boxes made me feel like I was in the room of the Tortured Poets Department, circa 1886. This experience was truly a gift for me.

Class was vey interesting and informative, but mostly tasty!

I was delighted with the flowery taste of Chelsea Garden, the fruity taste of Mango Bergamot, but was totally surprised by the rich, smokey flavor of the Darjeeling. This is mainly due to the fact that I normally only drink Herbal, White, or Green teas.

Incredibly Informative

This class was fantastic. Katy was clear, descriptive, and precise in her explanations of teas, history, and the process of steeping tea. Katy goes above and beyond to teach you the basics of brewing and the history of where tea came from, and it is still curated today. I learned a lot in this short class. I highly recommend taking this class if you like tea in any way. PS) All tea has caffeine.
