This product is amazing.
If you use roasted garlic like we do this product is for you. The quality of the garlic toaster is second to none. So well crafted. The exterior design makes it a little art piece for your counter top. Explanation purchase

Gorgeous and inspires me to actually do
This is just a beautiful kitchen item...it makes me WANT to roast the garlic. It could be used for other items as well. Looks pretty on shelf, too@

Sadly it broke on the first use
Sadly, this broke on the first use. I contacted support and uncommon goods ignored my case. I am really surprised by this and it is unfortunate as it is a beautiful peice, and we were excited to add delicious roasted garlic with this beautiful dish to our culinary adventures. What a let down :(
Response from merchant
Hi! We are so sorry to hear that happened. It sounds like it may have been defective if it broken only after the initial use. We’ve messaged you privately in order to help further.

Amazing hand-made ceramic
I got this as a gift for someone who doesnt like "kitchen gadgets". She prefers pieces of art, and not plastic stuff. So this was a perfect Christmas gift!

Well made - pretty color- but didn't come with instructions hoping it would have. Kinda on the heavy side.

you have mastered the craft! Your art is stunning! Hmm, the lid to the 'garlic roaster', could one special order a lid (in the size of a subtly oversized wine vessel with the curl handle as a hand handle)?

Hi Diana! Thank you! We like your creative brain too. However, we're sorry to say the artist cannot accommodate any requests for special new creations.

What are the usage instructions for this item? Are you supposed to soak the roaster in water before using?
Verified reply from Lelio
You don't have to soak the roaster in water before using. Place the garlic, cut side up, on the roasting plate. After adding your desired ingredients, put the lid on the plate and place it in a cold oven on the center rack at 350 degrees fahrenheit. Cook the garlic until it's soft, about 45 to 60 minutes depending on your oven and the number of bulbs on the plate. Remove the roaster with a potholder and place it on a heat-proof surface or another potholder to cool. Keep the lid on for two to three minutes. After removing the lid, allow the garlic to cool for three to five more minutes before you take it out.
