On the banks of the Mississippi in Hannibal, Missouri, Steve and Lindsey Ayers shape clay into pieces meant for gathering. Steve grew up surrounded by pottery, learning the craft through school and developing a lifelong love for the wheel. Years later, Lindsey, Steve's middle daughter who he taught pottery to, joined him after studying painting, bringing a creative perspective to the studio. Today the pair work side by side, experimenting with glaze, color, and form. Their high-fire stoneware uses their own glazes and is made for everyday moments, from family dinners to traditions like baked brie on Christmas Eve. Each piece reflects collaboration, creativity, and their Midwestern roots.
