I love this. I'm not a picky chef though.
My family of four eats an egg each every day. So this is a fun tool to have on hand! I also think it's healthier because it uses little to no fat to cook the egg. A couple of things: 1) It will make exploding sounds in the microwave, and send bits of egg white everywhere. Cover the top loosely with a microwave shield or bowl to minimize mess and keep the lid from jumping too much. 2) If your partner is a snarky chef, don't bother getting it for them. They will prefer whatever tools they've always used to cook eggs, and will think the loss of oil/fat is a bad thing.

Quality and Attractive
I bought this egg cooker for my son who is in college and learning to cook his own meals. This seemed like a simple and quick way to cook an egg which he does nearly every morning. He's already been using it and loves it...experimenting with different ways to cook them, scrambled, sunny side up,...... Bottom line, it just works like described. Simple, quick, easy to clean and looks nice on a counter, not that he cares about that but it does. I guess a plastic one would work, but this one has character and worthy of a spot on the counter.

Great product!
I purchased this item for a Christmas gift. My daughter used it on Christmas morning and my husband used it the next morning. Both were surprised and very happy with the results. The eggs were done perfectly and not rubbery.

I'm buying these for everyone in my family
I got this for my brother-in-law for Christmas because his job often requires him to leave early in the morning. He can make himself a healthy breakfast in no time with this adorable, practical egg cooker. It cleans up easily and is just a cute little pot no bigger than a coffee mug. I have since bought 3 more for other family members (and one for me!)

I liked it so much I bought a second one
Great gift. Fast, efficient and easy clean up. Perfect for so many people. Active people, people without much time in the morning, families with different tastes and my husband who doesn't eat butter! Well made and works really well.

I love it. Perfect for my morning eggs!
I was trying to do something similar for my eggs when I saw this on your site. It's absolutely perfect and my eggs turn out great every time. The instructions didn't make a lot of sense in terms of the timing, but I figured it out. It's also such a pretty ceramic piece.

Hi Kay! We believe you meant air fryer? Our research indicates that stoneware can generally be used in air fryers, though this specific product has not been tested as such.

Does this product make sunny side up type eggs as well or only scrambled? What is the difference between this product and the Microwave Egg Cooker sold by Uncommon Goods?
Verified reply from Merve
You can make both types of eggs. However, because this only holds one egg, it is better to be used for 1 sunny-side up rather than 2-3 scrambled eggs. The microwave egg maker is larger than this maker, and it will hold more eggs.

What are the cooking directions?
Verified reply from Merve
To cook your eggs, put together your ingredients -or scramble of your choice- and place them inside of the container. Close the lid, and cook it in the microwave for 1 minute. Instructions will come along with the item as well.

Can you post the instructions for the microwave egg cooker? Can't find mine. Thanks
Verified reply from Merve
Instructions 1. Lightly coat the bottom of the maker with your preferred cooking spray or olive oil. 2. Crack in one egg - whisk before in a separate bowl if you'd like scrambled 3. Optional: toss-in and mix with add-ins like onions, veggies or cheese 4. Depending on wattage of microwave; keep in less than a minute for microwaves with over 1000 watts and keep in at least a minute for microwaves with less than 1000 watts. 5. Make sure the egg is fully cooked and enjoy!
