Shelly Klein lives and works in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design. She earned a BFA with an emphasis in painting, and has since divided her time between painting and designing for her product line. The two disciplines often overlap: Shelly’s painted illustrations are used to decorate her product designs. Working with Uncommon Goods has helped Shelly produce pieces beyond the manufacturing capabilities of her own studio—and it allows her to connect with a large audience of art lovers from around the world.

DO NOT BUY! Artwork falls off after washing
The pictures/letters fall off the tumblers after a few washings. Uncommon Goods has told me that they have had issues with the artist/process and sent me replacements. The same thing happened to the replacement. And now they are telling me they can't do anything about it.

Like these but
These were meant to be a Christmas gift but one of the glasses was a duplicate, which means someone (granddaughter) was without a glass and DIL had two. Could not gift these so they are still in the box unused. Customer service has not responded to any of my emails and they are usually pretty quick about it.

I have purchased this item multiple times!
I purchased my first set for myself and my husband so that we can easily identify which was our glass. The figure designs provide plenty of options to depict the recipient most accurately. We can attest to the fact that the glasses are very durable, as a tree fell on our house earlier this year, knocked one of the glasses to the floor, and the glass survived!! I prefer to hand wash these to maintain the picture quality.

Finally a charming way to remember where your cup is!!
Love that my boys have their own names on their cups. There's no more guessing who put which cup where and a definite decrease of number of cups we're washing daily. And the best part…they're absolutely adorable!!

My brother and his girlfriend have two pets can I get a cup with him and a dog and then a second cup with her and the cat? Also where do I mark the hobby I want to select when ordering?

Of course! When you click "personalize," you will be prompted to insert the name and select the figure (man, woman, child). After you choose the figure, the option to choose the hobby will show up - select pet. Then pick the style of the figure, and you will be given the choice to choose which pet. I hope this helped!

I am hoping to order 4 of these glasses but have them only in black outline rather than filled in with colors. The on-line order form does not allow that....is there a way around that? thanks

Shelly's illustrations are printed onto the tumblers via sublimation.

is there a way to save the choices on these tumblers? I found I needed to check some of the personalization choices before I placed the order. It would be very beneficial if you could save the work during the personalizaion process. I am ordering 7 tumblers and think I will have to go through the process all over again.

If you add it to your cart, the item will stay in your cart (regardless if you are logged into your account or not)! You can even go back and edit it when you click on the item in your cart. All your information should still be there.
