Tree of Love

With each passing year, the love between two committed partners grows stronger. Celebrate one of their milestone anniversaries with this beautiful tree sculpture to represent their deep-rooted bond. Grounded in a wooden base with a metal heart, Carmi Plaut and Loly Gomez's wire tree artwork is decorated with leaves made from fragments of recycled glass. Choose from four leaf colors, each inspired by the gemstones associated with four significant anniversaries: green garnet for the 25th (green), pearl for the 30th (white), ruby for the 40th (red), or gold for the 50th (clear). This shining work of art will stand as a testament to their achievement as a couple—and how much their love will continue to grow. Handmade in the Philippines.

Philippines-based artist Loly Gomez left rice farming behind in 1972 to open a shop, selling pieces made from recycled glass. When her work caught the eye of Chicago designer and entrepreneur Carmi Plaut, an international partnership was born. The pair have been designing together for more than 25 years, with Loly also in charge of manufacturing in the Philippines and Carmi handling marketing from Chicago. "The collaboration is so natural and so wonderful," says Loly. "Like family."

Beautiful, high quality gem tree!

This gem tree was a 40th Anniversary gift for my parents, and they absolutely loved it. After finding out that rubies are the 40th Anniversary stone, I started scouring the internet for a gem tree that would have ruby colored stones. So many of the items I found were not only overpriced, but had sparse and/or cheap looking stones and were small in stature. Once I found this one, I had to buy it! My parents absolutely love it - I would highly recommend!

A WOW Gift for the most WOW person at The WOW Center!

This gift was the idea of the leadership team at The WOW Center in Miami to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of our amazing Director of Social Work and Programs, Lourdes Matamoros. Lourdes has been working with passion and fervor for forty years, as if it was still her first month of work. You see, this is because The WOW Center is truly an extraordinary place full of extraordinary people, and Lourdes leads and loves abundantly. This tree was selected because it is a Ruby anniversary, it was in February during Valentine's Day, and beautifully represents how abundantly she has made The WOW Center and all served there, flourish. The WOW Center It is a day center for young and aging adults with developmental disabilities, and its logo includes two hearts intertwined, similar to the heart at the base of this tree. Our center is also located in a beautiful park, where we are surrounded by tall trees. This is truly the MOST PERFECT GIFT. It is WOW in every way! In the words of the person who received this gift, "this is the most beautiful gift I have ever received, and commemorates this incredible occasion perfectly!" These were also the comments of others who saw this gift revealed at the 40th anniversary celebration here at The WOW Center.

Perfect gift for 50th Anniversary!!

This anniversary tree is SO MUCH nicer than in the picture! The glass is like crystals and more beautiful in person. We got this as a 50th anniversary gift for my husband's parents, and it was truly the perfect gift! Highly recommend!
